1. Acknowledgement of Risk

I, the undersigned, acknowledge that towing and transport of vehicles involves inherent risks, including but not limited to potential damage to the vehicle, its contents, or property during loading, transport, or unloading. I understand that Lake City Performance Ltd operating as Lake City Towing will take all reasonable precautions, but cannot guarantee prevention of all damage.

2. Release of Liability

I hereby release and hold harmless Lake City Performance Ltd, operating as Lake City Towing, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any liability for loss, damage, or injury to the vehicle or its contents during the towing process, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

3. Personal Property
​
I confirm that I have removed, or accept responsibility for, all personal property and valuables from the vehicle prior to towing. Lake City Performance Ltd is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property left in the vehicle.
4. Vehicle Condition
​
I confirm the vehicle is safe and suitable for towing. I acknowledge that pre-existing damage or mechanical issues may be aggravated during transport, and Lake City Performance Ltd is not liable for such pre-existing conditions.
5. Authorization
​
I authorize Lake City Towing to access, move, and tow my vehicle as described above. I confirm I have the legal right to authorize this service.
6. Payment
​
I agree to pay all towing and related charges as per the rates discussed. Payment is due upon completion of service.
​
Storage fees of $29 per day will apply to any vehicle left on Lake City Performance Ltd property after 24 hours.
Vehicles not paid for and collected within 30 days of service completion will be subject to a lien and may be sent to collections or sold to recover outstanding charges, in accordance with the laws of British Columbia.
7. Compliance
​
This waiver is governed by the laws and regulations of the Province of British Columbia, including the Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act and the Motor Vehicle Act. Nothing in this waiver limits rights or remedies available under BC law that cannot be legally waived.
